Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance is a volunteer run organization driven to champion women in aviation maintenance. Donations from corporate partnerships, such as United Airlines, go directly into scholarship, mentoring, outreach programs and basic operating costs such as web hosting. Funding is also used for Girls in Aviation Day, exhibit booths at various annual conferences and much more.
Our primary focus for 2023 has been organizing the FIRST Girls in Aviation Day (GAID) East Bay at Buchanan Field in Concord on September 23, 2023. We had a wonderful day - which you can see by going to the GIAD Photos page.
Our primary focus for 2024 will be to hold the second GIAD East Bay! If you are interested in helping us organize, volunteer or participate in Girls in Aviation Day please email us below.
